If you’re searching for a forward-thinking, ideas-based practice that is passionate about design. We are seeking a Healthcare Planner to join our team.

What will we ask you to do?  

  • Perform all aspects of facility programming/planning, including:
    • Existing conditions assessment/engineer coordination.
    • Zoning and building code research and assessment.
    • Service line volume assessment and translation into a Functional and Space Program.
    • Stakeholder interviews.
    • Master plan option development including phasing.
    • Written and graphic documentation to communicate master plan concepts both independently and in support of other planning staff.

Qualifications

  • Registered Architect minimum
  • 7+ years’ experience in and commitment to healthcare programming/planning/design with a demonstrated ability to develop facility programs and designs in compliance with client needs and industry best practice
  • Strong design, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate design ideas through freehand sketching and rendering
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, time management, presentation skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of healthcare specific design and equipment requirements
  • Strong conceptual thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented, as well as communicate information and ideas in speaking and writing
