With the facility’s limited capacity for expansion, launching the new Imaging Institute presented a complex challenge requiring meticulous planning and construction. Collaborating closely with departmental stakeholders, DesignGroup reimagined workflows to enhance efficiency and minimize redundancies, facilitating the expansion and enhancement of modalities. Employing a multi-phase construction strategy, the project ensured uninterrupted hospital imaging services for inpatients throughout the process. DesignGroup prioritized seamless coordination to minimize disruption to hospital operations and maintained transparent communication with the client and project teams.

Beyond establishing the Jefferson Imaging Institute, the project aimed to enhance the patient entry experience, streamlining access to essential services and optimizing service timing and staff allocation for improved patient satisfaction and convenience. This comprehensive approach underscores DesignGroup’s commitment to delivering not just a functional facility, but also an environment that prioritizes patient comfort and accessibility, setting a new standard for healthcare infrastructure.
