The Role

We are looking for an early-career Architectural Associate (new grads welcome) to join our team in our Columbus, Ohio location. You’ll find a flat organization structure that is small and agile, allowing for professional growth and mentoring.

What will you do?

  • Work as an apprentice/intern Architect on Healthcare and/or other projects
  • Support project teams to plan, design, document, bid, and administer projects successfully
  • Coordinate completion of architectural documents throughout project phases
  • Contribute to program integrity, design intent, and technical excellence
  • Develop schematic design, floor plan layouts, architectural renderings
  • Produce construction documents independently
  • Coordinate with engineers and other consultants
  • Assist with permitting and other regulatory agencies
  • Assist with marketing efforts as needed
  • Seek out resources, mentors, benchmarking, and trends to develop expertise
  • Use DG, AIA, and other standards and procedures that define the DG process
  • Pursue a path toward architectural registration and continued professional development
  • Deliver presentations to firm stakeholders and other user groups

  • Bachelors of Architecture minimum, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Adobe Suite, and Autodesk Revit
  • Participate in USGBC and an active career path toward LEED AP status
  • Participate in IDP and an active career path towards Architectural Registration
  • Strong design, organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrate a positive outlook towards professional development and teamwork
  • Willingness to seek out, understand, and promote industry best practices
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule, three days in the office/two remote
