What Will We Ask You To Do?  

  • Create engaging client-focused proposals that elevate – write, design and produce proposals and statements of qualifications specific to each marketing opportunity, including Federal/State 330 forms and custom formats, coordinating with appropriate practice group members the use of illustrations, photographs, diagrams and charts
  • Design visually-stunning client deliverables in InDesign
  • Produce client and prospect marketing packets and firm brochures
  • Coordinate activities, presentations, and displays when prospects visit DesignGroup or vice versa
  • Produce interview materials for business development pursuits: presentation slides and leave behinds
  • Coordinate and produce: event, white paper, advertising, PR, and conference/tradeshow materials
  • Develop and distribute direct mail/e-mail
  • Routinely update and maintain the website
  • Produce award submittals for recognition of DG’s award-winning architecture
  • Work with technical staff to obtain content and then translate technical verbiage into a marketing‐oriented message
  • Develop, manage, and keep current the technical information for DesignGroup, including project descriptions and resumes
  • Development and maintenance of Kit of Parts materials for all phases of Marketing
  • Coordinate and assist with project photography and maintain library of photography

Qualifications

  • Degreed professional i.e. communications, journalism, marketing, liberal arts, graphic design (Bachelor’s degree minimum)
  • 2 – 5 years recent experience within Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry preferred
  • Graphic design and InDesign experience a must
  • Exhibits strong verbal and graphic communication skills
  • SMPS membership and participation is preferred
  • Possesses a sense of ownership and ambition; and continuous improvement mindset
  • Works well under pressure
  • Proven computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office, database, and Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign) applications
  • Demonstrated organizational skills to include managing multiple tasks and deadline driven workload
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in working successfully in a fast-paced team environment
