Design for New Ways of Work
The CollisionRight leadership team came to DesignGroup with the intent of a new corporate headquarters for their rapidly growing office in Dublin, OH. The initial scope of work included fit plans for a preferred tenant space, eventually settling on an undeveloped 15,000 SF floor plate at Bridge Park. The program explored new ways of working post pandemic. Zones were created to facilitate a wide range of working preferences and opportunities to convene and ideate across teams. Spaces include an executive board room, private offices and open workstations, training rooms, flexible collaboration zones, several traditional conference rooms and a large kitchen with flexibility for privacy.
CollisionRight was undergoing a rebrand effort with a local branding firm, giving us the opportunity to work alongside their efforts to ensure a cohesive design. We worked off their new brand guidelines for color and lifestyle photography inspiration to align the corporate environment with CollisionRight retail spaces.
The site location—a 4th floor space overlooking the Scioto River, hills to the west, and an urban community to the east—drove the planning strategy. The floor plan was laid out to create vistas to the west and open up the façade to increase daylight exposure. As CollisionRight hosts many guests, spaces such as phone rooms, hotel workstations, the executive board room, lounge and kitchen were located near the vertical circulation to conveniently accommodate visitors.
