Mike Forejt

For Mike, it’s all about relationships. As a project manager, he oversees DesignGroup teams and maintains contact with clients. His secret to managing it all? It all comes down to effective communication. 

Mike credits his communication and leadership style to multiple mentors throughout the years. Sharing experiences, he says, is the best way for leaders to develop team members around them. 

His project management approach is fair, balanced, and consistent. Mike juggles many tasks at once, from project oversight to stakeholder communication and team coordination. He’s worked in a range of design categories, including residential, corporate, retail, hospitality, and parks and recreation projects.

He remembers fondly the four-year OhioHealth Riverside Surgery Modernization. Mike’s most proud of the relationships he helped build along the way. He fostered strong connections with the client, consultants, and builder, resulting in a uniquely productive team dynamic.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys being outdoors – hiking, running, climbing, and skiing. He also loves to spend time with his family, friends, and dogs—solid relationships all around.
