Renovation of two existing units on fifth floor of occupied hospital

The renovation in J5 for Infectious Disease patients provided 26 new private patient rooms, support space and adjacent office space for recruitment of new research physicians

The patient room design included incorporation of new Nationwide Children’s Hospital Standards in the first opportunity to renovate existing space

Emphasis was placed on creating a comparable environment within the renovated area for both patient care and family experience to that of the new patient tower
