Central and Accessible Services for the Community
This three-story facility includes an urgent care, physicians’ offices, therapy services, imaging, sports medicine, pharmacy, outpatient laboratory services and an expanded home for corporate health. The community’s need for theses services outgrew their existing spaces and this location provides a more central, accessible and visible location for these services.
With high visibility from State Route 33, it was essential to create a sophisticated and recognizable presence for Mary Rutan. This new building serves as a catalyst for Bellefontaine’s growth as the anchor for a new commercial development, Northpoint Center. Two key materials wrap the facade; the brick makes a nod to the main hospital just two miles away while a two-story glass focal point wraps the corner, creating a transparent billboard for the urgent care and medical office building.
“We heard our community’s expressed need for local urgent care services as an alternative to emergency medical care, and we are responding with this new facility, the Mary Rutan Hospital Health Center. In addition to urgent care services, the new health center will provide convenient access to other needed health care services,” said Mandy Goble, president and CEO of Mary Rutan Hospital.
