A historic stadium with a major renovation
This historic stadium, located in the heart of The Ohio State University campus, underwent a complete renovation. The playing field was lowered fourteen feet, creating loge boxes in B-deck areas, extending C-deck seats, and making the south stands seating permanent. This $187 million project was completed in multiple phases, over three off-seasons, and increased the stadium seating capacity and revenue significantly. The Horseshoe’s original design and character were preserved and improved upon during this renovation. DesignGroup provided architectural design and construction administration in collaboration with Osborn Engineering.
