This new facility provides expanded space for OSUWMC’s Sports Medicine’s collaborative programs of healthcare, athletics, education, training and medical research.

Spaces include multiple clinical and surgical suites, research labs, an indoor practice field, a biodynamics lab and physical therapy services.

The surgical suite on the first floor includes four operating rooms on the north face flanked by 19 rooms for pre- and post-surgical care for over 3,000 sports and orthopedic outpatient surgery procedures annually. This area is designed to maximize advances in technology, surgical techniques and the education of future healthcare professionals.

Bringing more than 15 interdisciplinary specialties and patient services, 160 sports medicine faculty and staff and four research and performance labs under one roof this project has elevated The Ohio State University to a national leader in sports medicine.

This project received LEED Silver Certification.
