Leading EDJE prides themselves on being ”Real. Fun. Geeks.” and wanted to incorporate that in their new space. They hired DesignGroup to develop a design that embodies the fun energetic work hard play hard nature of the company with a unique atmosphere that is not your typical office environment.
Leading EDJE selected a corner L shaped suite with a 3rd floor balcony with great views of Dublin and the Scioto River. With access directly off of the elevator lobby the front door opens up to the entry hub which features a coffee bar and comfortable living room style furniture offering a warm welcoming first impression to guests and potential clients.
The L shaped suite is anchored by the primary design feature, the Café Hub, which showcases a large sculptural u-shaped bar with a reclaimed wood counter and distressed corrugated metal equipped with 4 taps to encourage a social and collaborative culture. The bar includes four taps and custom branding on the back wall. The large training space/meeting room is adjacent to this space and opens up with a large garage door, making it perfect for after hours social events
The rest of the suite is a variety of space types that allows employees to choose how they want to work and includes flexible meeting rooms, private offices, soft seating, and an open workstation zone. The open workstation zone and enclosed rooms were designed to be flexible and ‘scale up’ as the company continues to grow in the future.
The huddle rooms all have a translucent film over them to create a sense of privacy. They also integrate a variety of fun sayings and themed room names to bring humor into the space.
